Overview
Lushciv, led by RebelOnRepeat, is a nation that was established near spawn. It is located there as they aim to welcome players who have just woken up, hoping to find refuge. It was one of the first nations to be formed, and also the nation with the highest number of members in the server overall.
History
Lushciv Origins
After The Reset, upon waking up, Rebel was quick as she made her way through the forests. As she aided others with resources and food, whilst protecting them from harm, she led them to a cave, instantly knowing she wanted to make it their home. The cave began dark, flooded and inhabitable. However, despite this, she helped many settle inside the cave as makeshift paths were built to traverse the harsh interior. People began building small shacks, their new home, as even more victims of The Reset came for shelter. The cave soon formed to be home to a civilization, with Rebel, leading the people, officially calling it Lushciv. Large structures were constructed, fields were cultivated for food, communal areas for unity and collaboration, and many more were built to make this place home.
Early History
As society began to settle, within Lushciv, a group began producing conflict and tension, claiming they wanted to start a war. They lingered around Lushciv scaring the civilians, shouting, stealing, and constructing chaos. Rebel soon talked to them, attempting to reason with them. However, they mocked her as the group began to leave; soon, they were nowhere to be seen.
Despite the short moment of peace, soon after, signs began to appear, threatening conflict between Lushciv and Pyrosia. The same day the signs had been discovered, as Rebel received a public message from Limber, who at the time was high ranking member of the Pyrosian Council, saying, “I know what you did, Rebel”.
Quickly, rumours of war and conflict began to spread. With the citizens primarily concerned with the discussions of war between Lushciv and Pyrosia. In response, Rebel requested the first meeting with Limber, now President of Pyrosia. During their discussion, Limber denied the rumours of Pyrosia wanting war, but threatened that if Pyrosia’s buttons were pressed, then they wouldn’t hold back in retaliating.
Rumours continued, propaganda, and a spread of fake news. With the situation growing out of hand, Limber called for a meeting between Lushciv, Pyrosia and Starhold, a quickly growing nation at the time. All three brought up rumours, concerns, and judgements before Limber had accused Rebel of being involved in the disappearances of the group who had initially brought about chaos in Lushciv. Despite Pyrosia's insistent words, Lushciv continued to deny the accusations, returning them to Pyrosia, listing reasons why they could have done the very thing they had accused Lushciv of. The meeting ends with Pyrosia seeking alliance with Starhold, quick to agree.
Rebel began reaching out to other nations, seeking alliances, fearful of the power imbalance if Pyrosia and Starhold collaborated properly. Still afraid, Rebel met with Astraea, Queen of Starhold, discouraging any official alliance between the two nations. The queen stated that no alliance had been formed, but she was in communication with her advisors at the time. Astraea stated that she just wanted peace between nations. Then, Rebel reiterated that under Limber's dictatorship, especially if Pyrosia grew in power, uniting with nations, there will be no peace.
A few days passed before Rebel received a message from Limber, requesting a quick meeting. Rebel agreed as they began discussing circulating rumours within Starhold. These include Astraea being a ruthless Queen, threatening to torture and kill her people. These included her cutting off someone’s tongue and bringing imprisonment upon her own disciples. There was even a book that disclosed that Starhold wanted to spread misinformation between Pyrosia and Lushciv, to provoke a war between the two.
With the severity of these rumours, Lushciv and Pyrosia agreed to make a temporary alliance to deal with Starhold. Though Rebel reiterated that she did not trust Limber, despite the alliance, he said they should start small to build trust. He continued to offer Pyrosian resources to Lushciv, and to propose that Lushciv be under the Pyrosian nation, all of which Rebel quickly refused.
The rumours soon proved false, and with this news, Rebel immediately disbanded the alliance between Lushciv and Pyrosia, having no reason to remain aligned with them. This dispute has slowly began to settle down, stagnating over time.
Current Events
Howling Cliffs, a nation with towering terrain, had news that spread to Lushciv. Apparently, despite peaceful relations, Howling Cliffs had grown a dislike for Lushciv. And with Rebel needing to ask something of Luke, a past member of Lushciv, she had worried about stepping on their land. With this, she asked Kuupid, someone who had recently woken up, to deliver a note.
Relations
Lushciv has a history of conflict with Pyrosia, which has stemmed from the beginning of their civilization. It started with nothing but signs from Pyrosians threatening war.
