What is the Land of the Forgotten?

The Land of the Forgotten is where everyone woke, or arrived, after The Reset. It stands as an intersection of worlds, both the priority, and others.

“A place where there were was once memories, only for all of it to be lost and forgotten.”

Upon The Reset, the land was also a victim of "forgetting". Structures began disappearing as if they've never been there before, and flowers bloomed as if it were first spring. However, not everything was completely obliviate as many structures seemed to have remained. Included are "The Capital: Willow", and various structures such as crashed planes and ruins. Many perspectives believe that these structures could be likened to the degrees of memory loss, with the land being able to "remember" a minute amount of history. However, others also believe that this is an effect of The Merge, a side effect of The Reset that brought in travelers, scholars, and other notable beings from other worlds, or dimensions.

The Capital: Willow

The Capital, Willow, stands as a widely accepted place within the land. After the reset, majority woke up directly inside of The Capital, either around the tree, or within a building. The Capital features various buildings such as Willow.FM, and a marketplace where people often purchase, sell, and barter goods.

Nations and Lands

After the reset, victims of it began building a new beginning. As people began to wake from the reset, nations and lands grew and are still growing to this day.

Spread across The Land, nations are flourishing, and stand as the primary drivers of the world. These nations continue to shape the world as they see fit, through collaboration, conversation, or even through international conflicts. The first nations to grow to a larger following include Lushciv, Pyrosia, and Starhold. Aside from these, notable lands include Jade Dragons, Kalopsia, and The Memories Library and Archive.

Map Overview

There is an official map of the Forgotten SMP! Here you can see where other players are, land locations, spawn, and the world border. World coordinates are also available, as well as a map view of the Nether!

• To access the side navigation of the map, where you'll be able to find a list of players and worlds section, there will be a dark transparent box. Click on the box and it'll pop up! At the top, you can keep this navigation tab pinned.

This map should update constantly, but of course, if you don't see a certain build somewhere on the map, give it time! Any world changes should update after some time.

To note, we please ask that you don’t use this map as to hunt down other players and staff. It is disrespectful and not the purpose of the map. Thank you.
